Meredith Quill: Peter was very close to his mother, and Meredith's death left her son emotionally scarred. When Quill first opened the cryptocube, he invisioned Meredith calling him Starlord, her petname for him. He becomes enraged when someone insults her, even if it is his father.

- He claims that he once went to see a movie 6 times on its opening weekend, however the movie he went to see is unknown.
